Student Ministries

We know that being a young man or young woman in today’s world can be challenging. That’s why we’re committed to encouraging and equipping your youth through biblical and godly instruction. Your students will also find a “safe place” to develop friendships and have fun. To accomplish this, we offer the following youth activities:

E 4:13 Groups (Ephesians 4:13–helping us grow and mature in Christ as we are in community)

Sundays at 10:45am (Room A1)

Junior High & High School students join together as they work through the Answers In Genesis study through the Bible. We employ a “roundtable discussion” approach, to encourage students to truly interact with the ideas and with each other, under the leadership of caring and qualified adult mentors.

Journey/Trek (Awana) Club & “echo” Student Ministry

Sundays at 6:00pm (Room B1)

Sunday night is a time for youth (Junior High & High School combined). Each night we play games like dodgeball, volleyball or sandlot baseball, enjoy a group mixer game or two, hear from a guest speaker about a topic of Christian living, study the word of God together, and talk about our lives.

Every now and then we go out into our community for a service project or something fun together as a group. This is a great way to relax with friends, grow together in Christian faith, and push yourself to try some new things. Come join the group and bring a friend with you.

(Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30pm)

Awana – “Leaders In Training”

Wednesdays at 6:30pm (CBC Campus)

High School students serve as Leaders In Training (LIT’s) for the younger Awana Clubs (Cubbies & Sparks). Through these interactions, high school students will grow in their leadership abilities and become more deeply rooted in their faith. These students will be equipped to reach out more effectively and courageously into their world as a part of the Gospel work of Jesus Christ. Click here to learn more about our Awana program.
