We know that being a young man or young woman in today’s world can be challenging, which is why your Junior High or High School student will be encouraged and equipped through biblical and godly instruction by caring, committed Christian adults. Your students will also find a “safe place” to develop friendships and have fun. To accomplish this, we offer the following youth activities:
E 4:13 Groups
(Which stand for “Ephesians 4:13”, helping us all to grow and mature in Christ as we learn together in community.)
Sundays at 10:45am (Room A-1)
Junior High & High School students join together as they work through the Answers In Genesis study through the Bible. We employ a “roundtable discussion” approach, to encourage students to truly interact with the ideas and with each other, under the leadership of caring and qualified adult mentors.
Journey (Awana) Club & “echo” Student Ministry
Sundays at 6:00pm (Room B-1)
Sunday night is a time for youth (Junior High & High School combined). Each night we play games like dodge ball, volleyball or sandlot baseball, enjoy a group mixer game or two, hear from a Guest Speaker about a topic of Christian living, study the word of God together and talk about our lives. Every now and then we go out into our community for a service project or something fun together as a group. This is a great way to relax with some friends, grow together in Christian faith, and push yourself to try some new things. Come join the group and bring a friend with you. (Meets every Sunday night from 6-7:30 p.m. Bring your friends.)
Awana – “Leaders In Training”
Wednesdays at 6:30pm (Various rooms)
High School students serve as Leaders In Training (LIT’s) with the younger Awana Clubs (Cubbies & Sparks). Through these interactions, high school students will grow in their leadership ability and become more deeply rooted in their Christian understanding so that they can reach out more effectively and courageously into their world to be a part of the Gospel work of Jesus Christ.
Awana – “Trek” Student Ministry
Wednesdays at 6:30pm (Room A-4)
Junior High students coming together to join in fun Awana games and learn biblically grounded lessons and memory verses. Through these interactions, junior high school students will grow more deeply rooted in their Christian understanding so that they can reach more effectively and courageously out into their world to be a part of the Rescuing Force in the Gospel work of Jesus Christ.
