On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Communion together. It’s a time to remember Jesus–who he is and what he did. As a deeper response to his sacrifice for us, we also take a special offering.
The money from this offering is used to help people with pressing financial needs. Perhaps these people are regular attenders who look to us, as their church family, for help. Or, perhaps this is our first time meeting someone and they simply need a hand.
We don’t just write a check and wish someone better luck in the future. We give them the dignity of listening to their story. By offering community, we can truly live like Jesus did–with compassion and love.
If you need help, email us at email@example.com or call the church office.
Chandler Bible Church keeps a food pantry stocked with “kits” of groceries that include approximately one week’s worth of meals for a family of 4.
If we can share one of these kits with you, please call the church office.
At Chandler Bible Church, we fight against shame by providing a hot meal, clothes, and a story of hope. It’s not a gift from us to others, but rather a gift from our Father to everyone who is willing to come to him.
“Feed the Hungry” takes place on the first Saturday of every month. We gather donations of food and clothing from people in the church and from local businesses. Then, we pack it all up and drive to Moeur Park in Tempe where we get the joy of serving about 120 people.
