“Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.” ~Ephesians 4:11-13
We believe that God has designed each of us to have unique roles in the global Body of Christ (the Church). As we gather together on Sundays and throughout the week, we encourage each other to walk in these roles and build up the community.
We call these smaller group meetings “E 4:13 Groups” to remind ourselves of what the purpose of this time is–to equip and build up one another. Our goal in these settings is ever-increasing maturity and depth in our relationships with Jesus and others.
There are E 4:13 Groups for everyone in the family from kindergarten through senior adults. They meet on Sunday mornings. These groups are always open to new people. There isn’t weekly homework or annual registration deadlines.
Please check out upcoming groups for you and your kids!
